Weddings By Mark · Your complete couple experience

From ‘are you free?’ to ‘look at our photos!’

Lovely photographs are a big part of booking your wedding photographer. So is feeling looked after before the wedding, on the day and when the pictures arrive.

That’s why I’ve spent the past two years developing my own systems as part of my new software concept, Ivory Digital: a private booking area, a wedding planner and a gallery built around how couples actually use their photos. Here’s how they fit into your wedding journey with me.

Coming by 26 October 2026: the wedding planning app, free for couples who have booked or go on to book Weddings By Mark. My booking system and private gallery are already part of the service.

01 · First enquiry

Tell me about your day. Let’s see if we’re a fit.

Your date, your venue and a little about the wedding you’re planning: that’s where we start. You can enquire on your phone, and I’ll come back to you personally about availability and coverage.

You’re booking Mark, so you still get Mark. The useful technology takes care of the organising around our conversations.

02 · Your private booking area

Your quote, your choices, everything clear.

Once I’ve prepared your quote, your private wedding area lets you review the options in your own time. Choose the package and available extras that suit you, accept your quote and receive an itemised invoice. Your booking-fee payment secures the date in line with your booking terms.

  • Know what you’re booking: see your coverage and the extras you’ve chosen.
  • Keep the paperwork handy: your booking documents and forms have a proper home.
  • Sort things from your phone: you don’t need to wait until you’re at a computer to move your booking forward.

03 · Planning together

Less ‘where did we put that?’ More getting excited.

Your guest list in one place, your budget in another and the timings somewhere in a message thread… sound familiar? My wedding planning app is designed to bring those details together so you and your partner can see what’s sorted and what needs you next.

  • Get started together: guided setup, a shared dashboard and a checklist you can work through as a couple.
  • See where the money is going: track budgets, booked costs, deposits, instalments and balances.
  • Keep guests in the loop: organise guests, meals and RSVPs, with your own wedding website for useful information and replies.
  • Give the day room to breathe: plan preparations, travel, suppliers and timings. “Test our day” helps you spot tight timings and the effect of delays.
  • Remember the people who matter: prepare your family-photo groups, including separate-parent combinations, and print or export your schedule.

04 · The wedding itself

You enjoy the day. Your guests add their view.

I’ll be there for the real laughs, happy chaos and the moments you might miss, with relaxed portraits and family photographs fitted into the day. Meanwhile, your guests can scan your wedding QR code to share their own photos, videos and voice messages.

The daft dance-floor clip. A message from your best mate. A moment from the other side of the room. They add another lovely layer to your memories, alongside your professional photographs and any video included in your package.

The guest QR system is free with every full-day package. It gives your guests an easy way to contribute without another person following you around.

05 · Gallery delivery

Then comes the message you’ve been waiting for.

Your hand-edited photo gallery is normally ready in 3–5 working days. Open your private gallery, settle in together and see the whole story—including the little moments you didn’t know happened. Video is delivered separately where it’s included in your package.

First, a welcome back to your wedding.

Browse, download and share the good bits.

Browse in light or dark mode, open a photograph for a closer look and download your high-resolution images without watermarks. It’s easy to go back to your favourites and share your day with the people you love.

Make the memories part of everyday life.

When an album is included and album selection is enabled, gather your favourites in one place and review them together. Your gallery also has space for the wedding videos included in your package, so you can return to the speeches, ceremony or highlight video you’ve booked.

Built by your photographer

A little more thought, from start to finish.

I’ve photographed nearly 1,600 weddings over 19 years as a full-time wedding photographer. These systems come from seeing what couples need before the wedding and what they love afterwards.

I’m still your relaxed, “guest with a camera” photographer. Now there’s a carefully built experience around it too: clearer booking, practical planning and a lovely place to enjoy the memories.

If you want natural photographs and someone who thinks about the whole experience, I’d love to hear about your day. Based in Manchester, covering the North West, North Wales, Yorkshire and beyond. Taking bookings for 2027, 2028 and 2029.
