The story of the day

The dress hanging ready, Lauren’s reflection as her hair was styled, and Oliver sharing a drink with a friend: the morning photographs tell their own part of the story.
Outside, Lauren and Oliver exchanged rings with their guests around them. Then came the confetti, the hugs and some wonderfully daft moments with the wedding party. Those are always worth keeping.
The setting

The open countryside around Grains Bar made a lovely backdrop for a few relaxed portraits. We used the lawns, the wooden ceremony arch and quieter leafy corners, with the hills and big skies giving the photographs a sense of place.
Back inside, the gallery follows the reception, speeches and cake cutting through to the dancing. A wedding day is about the people as much as the setting, and both have their place here.
