I photographed Laura and Nick’s day at Merrydale Manor near Knutsford, keeping the little in-between moments alongside the big celebrations. This is their wedding as it unfolded in photographs.
The story of the day
From the quiet moments to the dance floor.
The photographs move between the ceremony’s soft light and flowers, the confetti outside, time together in the grounds and the energy of the evening. There was room for a little fun too — including an ice-cream stop and portraits on the garden swing.
I like couples to be present with their people. We made space for portraits without turning the whole wedding into a photoshoot, while the candid moments carried the story.

Merrydale Manor is in Over Peover, near Knutsford. Its manor house, gardens and lakeside setting give the day a range of backdrops, from a ceremony surrounded by flowers to a brief walk outside for portraits.
