I’m Mark, a Manchester-based photographer who has covered plenty of St Helens weddings, including several at Mercure St Helens on Linkway. The Mercure St Helens hotel on Linkway is somewhere I’ve photographed more than once. That experience matters on a busy wedding day: I can work with a lively group, keep formal photographs moving, and watch for the unplanned laughter between them. One celebration there that stays with me was full of fun and a big crowd of family and friends.
The hotel offers ceremony and reception spaces including its glass-roofed Pyramid Suite and Chalon Suite. We’ll talk through where your ceremony, meal and evening reception will take place, then make a simple photo plan around your timings and the available light. There’s no need to spend ages away from your guests to make a set of portraits.

Shorter wedding photography starts at £475; full-day photography starts at £699. Both focus on natural coverage, a few easy portraits and an edited online gallery. Tell me how your day is planned and I’ll help choose the right length of coverage.
Photography + highlight film
Gold combines photographs and a 5–7 minute highlight film from £899. Platinum adds ceremony and speeches videos from £1,350. We’ll confirm film coverage and availability for your date before booking.

At the Mercure
If you’re celebrating at Mercure St Helens, send me your ceremony time and whether everything is happening at the hotel. We can make space for a quick portrait outside, keep the group photographs manageable, and photograph the atmosphere as guests move into the reception. The real pictures above give you a feel for that setting.
Across the borough

How soon will we see our photos?
I aim to deliver your edited online gallery in 3–5 working days. I’ll confirm the delivery details for your chosen package when we talk.
Are you taking 2027, 2028 and 2029 dates?
Yes, subject to availability. Your date is confirmed only once we’ve agreed the booking.
