Jade and Nick’s wedding at Peckforton Castle was nothing short of spectacular. Rising above the Cheshire Plain, this medieval-style castle was the ultimate setting for their luxury celebration, offering drama around every corner—from the imposing Portcullis entrance to the vaulted ceilings of the Great Hall.

As a Peckforton Castle wedding photographer, I love the contrast this venue offers. The architecture provides a grand, cinematic backdrop, but the best moments are often the quiet ones caught in between.

We utilized the soft window light in the Drawing Room for some timeless portraits of Jade and Nick, and captured the sheer scale of their ceremony in the Great Hall. Despite the grandeur, the day was relaxed and full of laughter, proving you can have a castle wedding without it feeling “stiff.”
